Joey Chick

Joey grew up in Mansfield, Massachusetts, and graduated from Mansfield High School. As a young kid, Joey would “work” at his father’s jewelry store, helping with odds and ends, although he mostly remembers running around and causing a little trouble!

Joey’s first official job was at Dunkin’ Donuts, where he quickly learned the value of good customer service and the importance of creating positive experiences for customers. It was the perfect place to immerse himself in a fast-paced environment, interact with people from all walks of life, and learn how to handle customer questions and challenges along the way.

During his junior year of high school, Joey began developing an interest in the building and construction industry and wanted to learn more about the different trades. It was around this time that he was introduced to Mike Sr., who enlisted Joey’s help with an addition he was working on at his home.

Eager to learn more, Joey soon began accompanying Mike Jr. on plumbing calls, observing the work and gaining firsthand experience in the industry. It didn’t take long for Joey to realize how much he enjoyed the plumbing business as well. He found plumbing to be interesting, hands-on, and rewarding work and knew it was something he wanted to pursue.

From there, Joey earned his apprentice plumbing license, along with several other licenses, and officially began his journey in the trade. Through hands on, on the job training with Mike Jr., Joey quickly gained valuable experience and knowledge.

Before long, he became Mike’s right-hand man, learning an incredible amount in a relatively short period of time and continuing to build his skills every day.
