After an incredible 55 years of hard work, unwavering commitment and diligence, Michael Eisenhauer Sr. has officially retired from MJ Eisenhauer Plumbing, Inc.

For more than five decades, Mike has played an invaluable role in building the company and serving generations of customers with integrity, high-quality craftsmanship, vast industry knowledge and honesty. His dedication has helped shape MJ Eisenhauer Plumbing into the successful company it is today.

His journey in plumbing began at just 8 years old, when his father, who founded what was then called “TJ Eisenhauer Plumbing,” brought Mike along to work with him in Boston. From an early age, his father taught him the ropes and instilled in him the value of a strong work ethic. Mike didn’t realize it at the time, but those early days alongside his father would lay the foundation for a long and successful career in plumbing and heating, one that would eventually be carried on by one of his own sons.

In the early years, the shop was in Sharon, Mass and both Mike and his brother Jeff worked for their dad, along with various other plumbers. In 1975, Mike’s father, Thomas, “Pup” moved to Foxboro with his wife, Margaret, “Nan” and relocated the shop.

Around that same time, Mike reconnected with Maria. The two got married on March 31st, 1979, and went on to build a family of their own, welcoming two sons, Michael and Justin.

Mike was always committed to learning, growing, and becoming the best plumber, he could be. In 1982, he earned his Master Plumbing License, adding to the knowledge and experience he had gained over the years. His dedication to the trade extended beyond his work in the family business, as he also served as the Plumbing Inspector for the towns of Foxboro, Walpole, and Sharon.

Then, in 1995, the company entered another important chapter. Eisenhauer Plumbing was reimagined as MJ Eisenhauer Plumbing, Inc., with the “M” and “J” representing his sons Mike and Justin.

From a young age, Michael Jr. was immersed in the plumbing world, growing up around the business and learning the trade firsthand. He watched, listened, worked, and learned from the very best and Michael Sr. and Michael Jr. worked together for over 30 years.

So as Michael Sr. steps into retirement after fifty-five years of dedication, Michael Jr. carries the family business forward as its owner. With many years of experience of his own, he carries with him not only the knowledge of the business, but the values and traditions that have been at the heart of this company for generations.

And while Michael Sr.’s retirement marks the end of an incredible chapter, the story of MJ Eisenhauer Plumbing is far from over. Pup would be incredibly proud of his family and the way they have carried on with the Eisenhauer name, keeping his legacy, values, and dedication to the trade alive through the generations.
